Many advancements in cosmetic procedures help our patients achieve the smiles of their dreams. When a patient cannot decide between orthodontia (braces) or porcelain veneers, Dr. Gianino likes to acquire as much information as possible prior to making a final recommendation. The best way to see if and how veneers can help to improve your smile is by sending models of your teeth, along with numerous digital photographs, to our dental laboratory. The laboratory will create a mock-up in white wax. These diagnostic “wax-ups” allow us to see if the positions of your teeth can be corrected with porcelain veneers and without damage to your teeth nerves.
