Restorative Dentistry

  • Implant Restorations— While Dr. Gianino does not place implants, he keeps up to date on implant restoration techniques. His careful and meticulous method will leave you feeling confident about your smile.
  • Crowns and Bridgework— When dental problems cannot be avoided, it is important to have a dentist who can repair your damaged teeth with conservative therapies. A crown can restore original function, and a bridge can replace one or more lost teeth. Learn more about crowns and bridges. (link to Library Articles)
  • Ceramic or Gold Onlays— To repair damage to a tooth’s biting surface, dentists sometimes use an onlay rather than a filling. Dr. Gianino offers ceramic or gold onlays.
  • Tooth-Colored Composite Fillings— If you’ve had some tooth decay, but don’t want to get telltale silver filling, consider a tooth-colored composite filling. They are just as effective as amalgam fillings but camouflaged to blend with your all-white smile.
  • Root Canal therapy---- On those occasions when the nerve of a tooth has been irreversibly damaged, endodontics can help you save your teeth.
  • Phase I Periodontal Therapy— Phase I periodontal therapy involves deep scaling and root planning. These procedures ensure that gum and tissue cleanliness is achieved and also help your dentist assess what treatments options are best for you.
  • Combination Cases— When implants or removable prosthetics are not an option, high-quality crown work can make all the difference. Dr. Gianino is comfortable using this method to treat a variety of problems.
  • TMJ therapy---TMJ stands for temporomandibular joint(s).  There are many disease conditions of the jaw joint that can cause pain and discomfort.  A healthy jaw joint, muscles and ligaments are essential for dental health
