Dental Technologies

• Intraoral Cameras— This handy device gives Dr. Gianino a better image of your teeth than traditional dental exam tools, like mirrors and lights, provide. The pen-sized camera takes a video of your mouth so that you and your dental team can see your mouth in great detail on a television screen.
• Digital photography— Dr. Gianino has an in-office photography studio where he can take before and after shots of your mouth so you can see your transformation. Look at some of our smile makeovers in the Photo Gallery (link to Photo Gallery).
• DIAGNOdent— A new tool in early detection of dental problems, DIAGNOdent is a small hand-held laser that identifies decay and areas prone to decay, thus preventing further damage and lengthy treatment.
• CAESY— Dr. Gianino believes that patient education is key to good oral health, so he offers CAESY dental education tools that to explain treatment options.
• Digital enhancements--- A wonderful way to see your after appearance before beginning treatment is to have your digital photos enhanced by one of our dental technicians.  These photos are such an important part of the diagnostic plan.
