Josey

Born in Lowell and raised in Massachusetts, Josey has been part of our team for about a year and a half as our New Patient Coordinator and “Head of PR & Marketing.” After spending several years in the medical field, she was looking for an opportunity closer to home when her sister referred her to Dr. Gianino's office — and the rest is history! Josey is often one of the first people our new patients connect with, and she loves making that first interaction feel less like scheduling a dental appointment and more like talking to a friend. She also brings her creative side to the office through our social media and marketing, where she enjoys finding fun ways to show the personalities behind our team.

One of Josey's favorite parts of her job is getting to meet patients in person after speaking with them before their first visit. She loves that conversations around the office often feel so natural that it hardly feels like work! More than anything, she hopes patients can feel the energy of the team when they walk through the door and know that they're in a place where they can feel comfortable, be themselves, and feel at home.

Outside the office, Josey enjoys working out, cooking, spending time with family, and hanging out with her dog, Basil. Her days off have absolutely no in-between — she's either happily being a couch potato or running around tackling errands and cleaning! She loves spin classes, snowboards in the winter, and would choose the beach and summer every time. She's also a devoted Bustelo coffee drinker and could happily travel to the Dominican Republic, where her parents are from, over and over again. Christmas is especially meaningful because it's a chance to get together with her family in New York. And if dentistry and marketing hadn't worked out? Josey says she'd probably find herself doing something involving public speaking or entertainment; although if she could instantly master one skill, she'd choose singing!
