Mel

Mel grew up in Leominster and Fitchburg and is one of the newest members of our team! She recently began her journey into the dental field after her sister encouraged her to pursue dental assisting. Currently working in sterilization while training as a Dental Assistant, Mel is enjoying learning the ins and outs of her new role, from preparing treatment rooms to seeing the before-and-after transformations of our patients' smiles. As she continues to grow in dentistry, she hopes to help create an environment where patients feel comfortable, cared for, and happy with their smiles.

Outside the office, Mel loves spending time with her nieces and nephews, who she could happily talk about all day! She's also a proud pet mom to Niko, her Chihuahua, and Luna, her cat. Before beginning her dental journey, Mel earned her cosmetology license, and if she weren't pursuing dentistry, she says she could see herself working as a medical receptionist.

Mel comes from a Uruguayan family and is fluent in both spoken and written Spanish. When she's not spending time with family, she's happiest relaxing at home or dreaming about her next adventure. Bora Bora and Hawaii are high on her travel wish list, and one of her biggest goals is to travel the world. Add in a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, and she's pretty happy!
